In St. Louis: (June 9th to June 11th)
Join us on the campus of Saint Louis University at the IL MONASTERO Banquet Center. We will have a 3-day option for new practitioners and new schools, and a 2-day option for returning practitioners. Content breakouts will be tailored to meet specific needs. You will learn more practical application of formal restorative conferencing and have time for sharing and learning from one another.
In St. Louis, participants will learn from our great guest speaker, Mr. Henry McClendon, Jr. current Michigan Regional Representative for the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP).He infuses restorative practices into multiple systems (schools, police, employment & training, health, courts, neighborhood block clubs, etc.), to advance the community safety and school success of children. He has thirty-five years in a variety of pastoral ministries including thirteen years in his current assignment as Pastor of Berean Chapel of Detroit.
In Wichita, Kansas: (June 22nd to June 24th)
Our locations is Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Wichita registrants new to restorative practices will experience a 3-day event and returning practitioners have a 2-day option (June 23rd – 24th). Registration includes lunch.
About the Trainer
Lynne Lang has her M.S. in both Health Management and in Restorative Practices and has worked in the field of health education, safety and violence prevention curriculum development since 1994. Her training in Intercultural Competence, Dispute Resolution and Mediation strengthen her skills as a certified trainer with International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP). She is an experienced facilitator in circle processes, and informal and formal restorative conferences. She developed Virtue-Based Restorative Discipline, an initiative that integrates restorative practices and time-honored habits for human excellence – the virtues.
